Welcome to the secluded little hideaway.  The Blue Dolphin Inn, located on Anna Maria Island on Florida's Gulf Coast is two spacious "Old Florida" style homes with two luxurious units in each.  Nestled between them is the newest feature, a tropical pool complete with tiki bar.  Wandering paths on the lushly landscaped grounds reveal gracious, private outdoor living areas for each accommodation.  All suites are fully equipped, eclectically decorated, and impeccably clean.  Just bring your bathing suit and settle into a home with the ambiance of your own private beach house.

We are located on the exclusive north end of the island in the village of Anna Maria, just four houses from the beach where the Gulf of Mexico meets Tampa Bay.  The historic Rod & Reel Fishing Pier and restaurant is nearby.  Our tranquil neighborhood is free of condos or hotels, high rises, traffic, noise and t-shirt joints.  A number of fine restaurants, bars with entertainment, fishing piers, shops, and unique island amenities are a short walk or bike ride away. Low key Anna Maria City has retained its charm and village scale.  You will truly become part of our little seaside community while enjoying your home away from home.

Additionally, The Blue Dolphin Inn strives to be an environmentally conscious resort. The original creator is a landscape architect and urban forester. The grounds feature almost entirely native plants with all the benefits this brings; birds, butterflies, animals, shade, wind control and sustainability, mitigating effects of invasive exotic species elsewhere that displace native habitat unique to our barrier island. The focus was on preserving and enhancing the environment. The beach path vegetation for example is all native. Come and see for yourself what our efforts have produced.
